Pastor Jason Knoll joined Community Church of God as Senior Pastor in October 2024.   He is married to Karen, and they have three adult children in Indiana, North Dakota, and Florida.

Jason is a licensed and ordained minister of the Church of God (Anderson), and he received his Master’s of Divinity degree from Anderson University School of Theology in 2005.  He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry at Asbury Theological Seminary.  Jason grew up in the Church of God in South Dakota, and he pastored a Church of God in Minnesota for 18 years before answering God’s call to Lake Placid.

Pastor Jason has a passion for helping people understand and apply the Bible to their lives.  He believes the Word of God has power to transform, and he strives to teach and preach with clarity and vitality.  The Bible is THE source of authority and faith.
